Boy I'm Getting Sick Of This

Just when you think you've found a truly inspirational story, a really likable guy, someone you can cheer for no matter who your team is, you find out he's been linked to an HGH probe.

Sometimes I really do hate baseball.

Also, more bad news for Baltimore Orioles fans. Not only is your team now 3 losses away from a 10th straight losing season, but as I predicted, Erik Bedard's oblique injury will likely shelve him for the rest of 2007, and with it, any hope he had of winning the Cy Young award. That, too, is a real shame because it would have been a tremendous boost to a team that desperately needs one.

Does this officially make the Orioles the worst team in baseball?

The display at Camden last night where Daniel Cabrera balked with Crisp on third and then threw behind Pedroia may make the Orioles officially the worst team in baseball. Six feet, seven inches worth of stupid yelling and attempting to fight an entire team. (Though it was amusing from the stands). Trembley ineptly wasting time trying to argue AFTER he had been ejected, Millar who is universally know for being a good teammate walking off the field showing no support (though none was deserved).

Afterwards, the most support he got was from Tejada, who was quoted saying "I hope the people of Boston don't think Daniel is a bad guy." Wow, that just screams compassion.

Anyway, I'd say that the Orioles are currently as sickening as the entire steriod mess. And it is very sad that progress is only being made in one of the two areas... and it 'aint the Orioles.

O's lost another one today... another pitcher, that is (game too). To prevent these oblique strains, they'll have to "do their homework," says their manager. Maybe they should look into this, rather than buying Victor Zambrano from the Pirates.
